a tequila-tinged destination wedding on the beaches of Tulúm, MX
“ DESTINATION: PARADISE ”
Far from the chaos of Cancún and Playa del Carmen sits a Mexican beach town that captures the imagination. Tulúm.
With walled Mayan ruins towering over its long, pristine beaches, Tulúm occupies a reputation all its own. From its exquisite seafood to the laid back beach bars dotting its sprawling white sands, it is the perfect destination wedding locale you would invent in a laboratory. We were lucky enough to not only have a memorable weekend on the beach Yucatán Peninsula, but have honestly the perfect, adventurous clients and their loving circle of family and friends to celebrate with. From early-morning yoga on the beach, to an acoustic guitar in constant serenade, to the incredible food served in-house at Villa Pescadores Tulúm, it was every beach-lovers dream sprung to life. Tulúm in Yucatan Mayan word for fence or wall, which couldn’t be more different than the open love for one another between Christian & Matt and their inner circle. Nuptials on the beach, then a fitting Día de Muertos-themed reception, then tequila. Lots of tequila. And then– well, you just would’ve had to have been there, huh?
